This morning we were off to visit the palace of Nymphenburg!

We decided to do an afternoon visit to a nearby Monastery outside of Munich in Andechs, close enough to take the S-Bahn 5.  Several people had mentioned that it was a local favorite and that alone had us willing to check it out! 

So we were in the beautifully charming city of Munich, meeting up with our California friends and off to take in the Bavarian city.  WARNING - there are a LOT of pictures on this post, it may take a while to load and some of the photos might actually be creative!  Proceed with caution!

After a fabulous day of biking around Munich, we were ready to blow off a bit of steam, get the party started and hit the infamous Hofbräuhaus.

We sure have a LOT to learn as this year unfolds.  Today a friend of ours came by to show us how to cut back our two vines and some of the fruit trees.

We just discovered a few days ago, that we have a type of vermin making nests in our umbrella pine trees.  From what we have been told the "nests" that are visible near the tops of the trees are somewhat poisonous and we should have them removed.
